Several Action Items were presented to us and we were asked to share with our members.

1. Send a note or post card to Debbie Wasserman Schultz, the new DNC Chair. When you write to congratulate her also ask her to drop by our DWCF Convention September 23-25 in Deerfield Beach--Boca Raton.

2. We need to write postcards on @ least a weekly basis. We need to be sending the post cards to our representatives or GOP--Florida; so that they are aware that we are paying attention.

3. We must write letters to lawmakers emphasizing that NO federal money is being spent for abortions as that is illegal.

4. Should join Planned Parenthood.

5. Weekly visits to local offices should be done so that the people there recognize you and also are aware of the issues and the fact that there are people paying attention and involved.

6. Think and develop messages of 10 - 15 words on getting President Obama and Senator Nelson relected.

7. Support Democratic candidates

8. If you would like to be involved with the DWCF, Inc as a fund raiser, then we need you. Board members are needed who are willing to raise money for our CCE.

10. Visit nursing homes. Also learn how you can request absentee ballots and help them be aware of Democratic candidates so that they can vote for them. 11. Each club should think about a Newsletter. Are any of you interested in putting together and being in charge of a newsletter for DWCSJC?
