We have an opportunity to make a change in the course of our country’s history. Loss of world respect, loss of our middle class, loss of health care are but a few things we can potentially change.
Electing a Democratic President and a stronger Congress are ways that you can make a difference.
However, to makes these changes we need volunteers and lots of them! Can you work phone banks, canvas, walk, greet or help in any way? If so, you are needed to make this momentous Democratic change happen. Contact our County Co-coordinator, Marilyn Boren, at 904-797-0291.
With the positive energy currently being generated and the additional energy after we have our candidate, November 4, 2008, is going to be a time of celebration!
The Democratic Women’s Club is very active in St Johns County.
- Six are District Coordinators, 5 are Precinct Captains, and many other members have volunteered as Helpers in the precincts. Marilyn Boren is St Johns County DEC county coordinator.
Not only are we working vigorously during this election cycle, we also have members very active in PPC, Lincolnville, Choice, African American events, Think Tank, Art and other volunteer activities. Our meetings are informational as well as an opportunity for group discussions. We invite you to visit us and to join. You will enjoy your experience and we will make you feel right at home in our pursuit of democratic ideals.
