CONVENTION 2007

Nine members of the Democratic Women's Club of St. Johns County traveled to Tampa recently to attend the DWC of Florida State Convention and meet the Honorable Janet Reno, former U.S. Attorney General, who attended as the Saturday evening keynote speaker.

Business meetings were held Friday and Saturday mornings, followed by workshops on fund raising, writing letters for publication, and money management. Pam Iorio, Mayor of Tampa, addressed the convention as did Christine Jennings, candidate for Congress, District 13, and several others.
