Hello and welcome to the EWGA Miami chapter's web site.

The EWGA exists to provide opportunities for women to learn, play and enjoy the game of golf for business and for life.

Since 1991, the EWGA has touched the lives of over 85,000 women. This not-for-profit membership association currently has nearly 20,000 members in over 120 chapters throughout the United States, along with international Chapters in Canada, offering a wide range of organized golf activities, player development and education programs, volunteer, social and networking opportunities for both novice and experienced golfers.

League play at Shula's Golf Course will begin January 7, 2012 and will end March 26, 2012. The cost to join the league is a $30.00 one time fee, which you will pay through the 123 sign-up when you register. Our tee times will begin at 9:00 am and we will have various formats. The green fee for EWGA members will be $25.68 (tax included). You do not have to join the EWGA league to play with us each Saturday; however, non-league members will not be eligible for competition awards. EWGA members can invite guests. The guests must pay the $45.00 guest green fee, and will not be eligible for competition awards. The requirement for league play is a valid USGA handicap. Score cards will be submitted at the end of each round to League Chair, Jackie Cox. If you have any questions, please email Jackie Cox at jcoxgolf@aol.com.

Registration for league play will be through 123 sign-up, which you will be receiving within the next several weeks.

RE: Shula's Golf Club Membership Information and EWGA Miami Chapter Board & Committee Members

As your new President, I am pleased to announce that Shula's Golf Club has agreed to renew the complimentary, annual golf membership to all Miami EWGA female members. Thanks to Kenny Fill, Golf Pro as Shula's, for providing us with this great benefit! The green fees for Shula's will be $25.68 (includes tax and cart fee). EWGA members can invite guests, and the guest fees will be $45.00. There are some lockers available. You can contact Preston Roberts or Kenny Fill at Shula's (phone 305-820-8106) to reserve your locker. I encourage you to renew your EWGA Miami Chapter membership to receive Shula's Golf Club membership, along with the many other great benefits EWGA has to offer.

You can also join our EWGA Miami Chapter GHIN account at an annual fee of $15.00(guests welcome for an annual fee of $20.00). As your Handicap Chair, I will provide you with assistance in maintaining your handicap. Please pass this information on to a golf friend who is not yet an EWGA member.
