GFWC Fort Walton Beach Woman's Club is a service club for civic, charitable, and educational purposes.

We are now in our second century of community service. We trace our history to the community interests of Florida Women in the late 1890's.

Since its inception, the members of the GFWC FL Federation of Womens Clubs are all about the business of identifying the needs of the local community and then working to address those needs through community service projects.

For purposes of contacting the club call President Cissy Wyninegar at (Cell) 974-3899 or e-mail her at wyninegarcissy@yahoo.com

Luncheons

Our luncheons are held on the third Wednesday of the month, at the Brooks Beal Center, home of the GFWC Fort Walton Beach Woman's Club.

The social hour begins at 11:00 AM. The luncheon begins at 12:00 PM.

The Board voted to have all future luncheons catered.

Reservations are necessary and should be arranged with your caller. Here are a few reminders to make our Luncheons a success.

*** The reservation deadline is 6:00 P.M. on the Sunday prior to the Wednesday luncheon. No reservations will be taken after that time and this includes yourself and your invited guests. If a message has been left for you, it is your responsibility to return the call.

*** All membersare assigned to a luncheon committee. You will find your assignment in the new handbook and a reminder will be in each monthly newsletter. *** The Hostess Chair will have a plannig meeting for each luncheon committee. Please try to attend these meetings.

*** If you are unable to serve in your assigned month, it is your responsibility to switch with someone in another month.

*** The Caterers for this year will be Panera Bread, Red Clover Cafe, and The Corner Cafe. Hostess Committees can also choose to prepae the luncheons themselves, however there are certain guidelines for this option, all of which are in the Hostess Handbook.

A reminder to our members; if you have a permanent reservation and you will be out of town, contact your assigned caller.
