May all things move and be moved in me
and know and be known in me
May all creation dance for joy within me. ~ Chinook Psalter ~ Ah Power that swirls us together - Gary Snyder (reprinted from the book: Earth Prayers, Roberts & Amidon) Earth teach me quiet, as the grasses are still with new light. Earth teach me suffering, as old stones suffer with memory. Earth teach me humility, as blossoms are humble with beginning. Earth teach me caring, Earth teach me courage, as the tree that stands alone. Earth teach me limitation, as the ant that crawls on the ground. Earth teach me freedom, as the eagle that soars in the sky. Earth teach me acceptance, as the leaves that die each fall. Earth teach me renewal, as the seed that rises in the spring. Earth teach me to forget myself, as melted snow forgets its life. Earth teach me to remember kindness, as dry fields weep with rain.
- Ute Prayer
O Great Spirit of Mother Earth beneath our feet, Master of metals, Germinator of seeds and the Storer of the Earth's unreckoned resources, help us to give thanks unceasingly for Your present bounty.

"Dear God,
I didn't think orange went with purple until I saw the sunset You made on Tuesday. That was cool." - Eugene "The life of the individual has meaning only in so far as it aids in making the life of every living thing nobler and more beautiful." Albert Einstein

In the beginning of all things, wisdom and knowledge
were with the animals, for Tirawa, the One Above, did not speak directly to man. He sent certain animals to tell men that he showed himself through the beasts, and that from them, and from the stars and the sun and the moon should man learn... all things tell of Tirawa. Eagle Chief (late 19th century)
Lord God Creator of All. Hear our prayers. Dear Lord, we request the legions of angels needed to help heal this wondrous planet, and inspire the many to invent systems that live in harmony with divine creation, rather than abusing it. We humbly request this in the name of your Beloved Son, Jesus The Most Holy Christ. Amen

"Our prime purpose in this life is to help others.
Thousands of tired, nerve-shaken, over-civilized people are beginning to find out that going to the mountains is going home; that wilderness is a necessity; and that mountian parks and reservations are useful not only as fountains of timber and irrigating rivers, but as fountains of life! - John Muir
As a new plant breaks the ground with great difficulty...
so must we sometimes push against difficulty in bringing forth our dreams.
