26th March: Meltham All Blacks (H)

Against a well organised Meltham team the U9s provided another spirited performance in only their 2nd game of the season.

Aaron Pollard opened his try scoring account for the Vikings with 2 finely taken tries in a close and evenly contested 1st Half.

The Boys battled hard in the 2nd Half to contain the experienced All Blacks and although conceded tries they were rewarded when Aaron Lawford opened his try scoring account from a determined run.

Again there was great support from the sidelines in recognition of another fantastic Team performance.

5th Feb: v Brighouse Rangers (H)

Under 9s enjoyed their first ever game of rugby league on Sunday.

The event was very well supported and the crowd were entertained with a positive performance by the Hoyland boys.

Connor Lawford bagged 3 tries with Luke Evans also scoring.

A great advert for the game and another positive step forward for Hoyland Vikings introducing young players to the game.
