On Saturday, November 8th, the Eastern U.S.A. International Martial Arts Association honored me with an induction into the Black Belt Hall of Fame for special recognition.

I was honored to be nominated and had a fantastic time. The weekend consisted of many seminars conducted by the best martial artists from all over the world. I had an opportunity to discuss a variety of subjects with Grand Masters, Sokes and other fellow instructors. Several people from my school were also inducted:

I was proud to be one of them. One of the things I took away from the experience was a new found appreciation for myself and for the system I train in. I was very glad that I found myself in such a well rounded system that even surrounded by the highest ranking black belts from all over the world, there was very little I wasn't familiar with. If there was anything missing from the experience, it was the lack of some of my loved ones. For a variety of reasons, some of the people I really wanted to be there couldn't attend and I missed them greatly. I'll be posting more pics as I get them scanned so check back when you get the chance.
