The Lake Charles Classy Redkettes, meets the 2nd Monday of each month for our "business meeting" (smile). We then choose one weekday to have a social luncheon with our group and guests. And, we also have been ejoying many many trips and special events with the Treasure Coast Queens and chapters. What fun we have!!

Welcome to the Lake Charles Classy Redkettes Website Hello we are the LAKE CHARLES CLASSY REDKETTES OF PORT ST LUCIE WEST, FLORIDA. We are a supporting chapter of the Red Hat Society # 56945. We LOVE to have fun, and love the sisterhood that we have created though the Red Hats. So, check out all of our pages, and just see what fun is supposed to look like... We love to share our fun, and invite you to come join us. We just may have a bus trip planned, or a great luncheon out at one of our favorite restaurants, maybe a play, or broadway show..a day out shopping? You just never know, but if it involves fun, laughter, and good food, you'll find us pretty close.

Red Hat Pledge (With hand over your hat)
I do solemenly swear,
On my Red Hat,
That I will do my best to uphold,
The spirit of the Red Hat Society.
I promise to greet
Middle age with humor
And take my silliness seriously.
I promise to regularly practice
Laughing and having fun.
I promise to wear my proper attire
At all functions.
I promise to eat dessert before my meals, if I want to.
I promise to dispel the notion a woman my age is OLD!

NOTES FROM THE VICE QUEEN'S AND MINUTES FROM LAST MEEETING

We have a new Queen our lovely Lady Lafsalot has stepped down from being Queen for personal reasons, and Judy Garbe has so graciously agreed to step in as Queen, so thank you Judy, and may we all help her to make this another great year with the Lake Charles Classy Redkettes.

I am looking for someone that has the time and talent to work on our website, when I just need help...anyone that would like to learn, PLEASE CONTACT CAROL HILL ASAP...THANKS. Thanks to all that offered at the Christmas Party today, don't forget to bring your laptops to the first meeting in Janurary and we'll have a class.

A vote was taken at the last meeting and passed that due to us having to change our meeting dates so much, that we are now going to have our monthly meetings the 2nd Monday of the month..

MINUTES TO THE JANUARY 9TH MEETING

PRAYER LIST AND CONCERNS
PLEASE SAY A PRAYER FOR:

Gloria, she had surgery Dec 5th, she is now home and doing well, but would love visitors and friends that want to go out to lunch. Send her a card.

Plese send a card to Chris, she has been released from Lawnwood hospital after a short stay, but could use some cheering up by a nice card or call...

RED HAT CREED
I will not walk softly, but I will carry a big stick. I will laugh hard, loud, and often I will have fun, and play hard. I will put all work and responsibilities off until tomorrow. I will take time to smell the flowers. I will never use the following words: "diet", "exercise", "fat", "guilt", "careful", "slow", "quiet", "rules", "laws", "boundaries", or "limits". I will never say "Shhhhhhhh". I will flaunt my red hat and purple dress. I will not always endure the restraints of underwear. I will eat chocolate excessively and unyieldingly. I will learn to indulge myself in both familiar and unfamiliar ways And will encourage Red Hat behavior.
