We are an official registered chapter of the Red Hat Society (RHS) which is a social club for women to enjoy time with their "sisters in life". It is all about fun and silliness. We get together on the 2nd Monday of each month for dinner and/or an activity. Sometimes we schedule an event on weekends or weekdays. Whether it's shopping, going to plays, learning new crafts or even dance lessons, we are an active chapter who enjoys visiting local, county and regional places with other chapters for "Hoots". We have officers and all members are given royal names.
Founded by me, FQM (Founding Queen Mother) Eileen Barrett, the Lucie Goosies was registered on 7/18/06. The hats, clothes, feathered boas, gloves and Bling, all have me hooked. Our colors of dress and hats are called Regalia. It's always fun to dress up and go out in public.
We Welcome sisters from all walks of life. Red Hatters are age 50 and over. Their regalia consist of a Red Hat and Purple attire. Our pink Hatter sisters are from age 30 to 49; their regalia are Pink Hats and Lavendar attire. This is the only rule that RHS has is to wear our colors and our Red Hat....after all, we are the Red HAT Society!
We suggest that you come as a guest to a couple of gatherings to get to know us and see if our chapter is right for you. In turn, we get to know you and see how you fit in with our way of doing things. Suggestions and all input are welcomed and appreciated when you become a member.
At the top upper left hand side, you should see "Chapter Events". Chapter Events include not only just our chapter events but also local Red Hat Events on the Treasure Coast.
Whenever we attend an event, there is always at least one group photograph taken at the event and posted on our website. In this way, we can share with all of you all the fun we are having!

MOTTO TO LIVE BY - Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely and in an attractive well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, a glass of wine in the other, body totally worn out and screaming WOO HOO what a ride! ========
