The Lucie Goosies Red Hat Chapter had “Western Night” at the Longhorn Steakhouse in Tradition on Monday, August 11, 2008 at 6:30pm. Each chapter member was asked to dress western, but still trying to keep within the Red Hat Society colors. They were also ask to select a Western name, and what they might be wanted for on a WANTED Poster. There were 18 members in attendance.
What imaginations these ladies have!
Flopalong Calamity - Wanted for Being a Klutz
We had two birthdays during the month of August – Our Lady Laughs A Lot and one of our newest members – Divine Duchess of Dark Chocolate. The group serenaded the Divine Duchess of Dark Chocolate on their kazoos. Lady Laughs a Lot was unable to make it to this get-together.
We welcomed two new members to our chapter – Diving Duchess of Dark Chocolate and Her Undeniable Naughtiness (our 2nd Pinkie in the group).
The Hostess for the Traveling Teapot was selected by Lady La Tea Da (the hostess last month). The new hostess will be Baroness of Boxes. Her Guest will be Joyful Joyce.
Our next chapter get-together will be on Monday, September 8, 2008 at Cobbs Landing in Fort Pierce at 6:30pm. Hostess of the Month will be Queen Mum.
