The Lucie Goosies met on Monday, October 12, 2009 at Chili’s in St. Lucie West. Our “Hostesses of the Month” was “Queen Mum, Keeper of Eternal Hot Flashes (Eileen Barrett).

Those attending were: Queen Mum,Keeper of Eternal Hot Flashes; Lady of the Lake, Goddess of Southern Charm, Lady Ding-a-Ling, Her Undeniable Naughtiness, Delightful Duchess Debbie, , Lady Lynn Rootin Tootin Red Hat Mama, Lady Mickie On the Go, Lady of Mystery, Lady La Tea Da, Lady Gambler, Lady Sage Rosemary of Thyme, and Goddess of Lumpy Bumps.

Those not attending were: Ellen Emery, Baroness Helen Luvs 2 Travel (Helen Hoffman), Empress of Absentmindedness (Julie Raub), Hot Sweet Pea (Lorene Starling), Lady Judi – Keeper of the Keys(Judi Nashawaty), Baroness of Boxes (Lucille Petruzzelli), Princess of Patience (Fran Deering) and Lady Laughs a Lot (Carole Wiseman).

We had two “Birthday Gals” this month – Princess of Patience (Fran Deering) and Lady Gambler (Helen Porcaro). The group serenaded them with their kazoos .

Melissa McKinney (Empress of Events) collected monies for future Red Hat events.

We played a Cookie Clue game. The winner was Stevie Savage with 39 correct. The member with the least number correct – Kathy McAmis also won a prize.

Shirley Luke – Duchess of Dark Chocolate has been placed on our inactive list. She hasn’t attended any of our get-togethers since March. She had knee surgery on one knee, and is suppose to have it done on the other one too.

There will be no chapter get-together in November. Most of us will either be attending the Laugh-In Brunch in Vero Beach, Thanksgiving Luncheon at Manero’s and/or the Black Friday Gala in November.

Our next chapter get-together will be Monday, December 14, 2009 at 6:30pm. Our Hostess of the month will be "Her Undeniable Naughtiness" (Tamara Hose). You will be notified of the place soon.
