I have been to the end of the earth.

I have been to the end of the waters.

I have been to the end of the sky.

I have been to the end of the mountains.

I have found none that are not my friend.

Greetings Fellow Travelers!

This website is just what it appears to be... a place for me to "dump" what's in my head and heart, just in case there's something here worth exploring for someone else (possibly younger) who has not discovered these things.

I will be adding to this site as time permits. Please let me know if you found something of interest. Be safe - be happy - be aware.

Things that piss me off...  in no particular order - People who:
  • think telling a lie is okay as long as you don't get caught
  • have children or pets and then don't take care of them
  • talk about their big houses, expensive cars, big paychecks, etc. to people who have to struggle to pay their bills
  • think there is only one right way to vote, or pray, or speak, or live, etc.
  • use cell phones (or keep them turned on) in public venues
  • use chemicals on their lawn and in their house without thinking of the damage it does to the rest of us

Info for Patriotic Americans

Tax cuts for the rich, spend, spend, spend
The Bush deficit is now over $400 billion. It will be $500 billion (or more) soon. We haven't had deficits nearly this large since Ronald Reagan was President ($325 billion). Unfortunately, Bush is not spending on Homeland Security, which just might help make us safer. He did give the wealthy a tax cut.

The second most powerful person in America wasn't elected either
Alan Greenspan is Chairman of the Federal Reserve. The Fed sets interest rates (among other things). When Alan Greenspan speaks, people listen. Greenspanspeak is full of jargon and is often difficult to understand. We're told he's the best Fed Chairman we've ever had. So why isn't he complaining (loudly) about the deficit? He certainly did so during the early Clinton years (before Clinton eliminated the deficit). If you happen to run into Greenspan at the country club, pleae ask him why the deficit is no longer a top issue.

When will the US get out of Iraq?
There are no weapons of mass destruction. Vice-President Dick Cheney's corporation got a big contract. The bill to US taxpayers will be many hundreds of billions (not even close to the earlier $200 billion estimate). Our brave troops are stuck in a terrible situation in Iraq, and they won't be home soon.

The Corporate Media
ABC, CBS, CNN, FOX, MSNBC, NBC and Clear Channel all supported the war. Clear Channel's CEO organized pro-war rallies. Pay attention to how the media reports just before a war or an election. Although many (like FOX and Clear Channel) are unapologetic about their corporate, conservative approach, some at least try to appear to be balanced. Those who opposed the war should be glad they have the right to express their opinions. It's too bad the Corporate Media doesn't feel the same way.

Your rights are being taken away
GW Bush and Attorney General John Ashcroft are working hard to shred the 1st Amendment. The US Patriot Act is an attack on the United States. We're told that it will make us safer. But don't worry, we can trust the government.

Things that make me smile...
in no particular order

  • Daddys who raise their children with as much care and gentle humor as do Moms
  • Moms who raise their children to be independent and thoughtful
  • Folks who get their pets from shelters rather than from breeders or pet stores
  • People who believe a certain thing because they've actually thought it through rather than just because that was the way they were raised, or because that's the way most people they know think

One of the few ways the issue of impeachment finds its way into the corporate controlled media is through Letters to the Editor. Write newspapers and periodicals, large and small, proclaiming the duty of those who care about truth and the Constitution to demand the impeachment of President Bush and his chosen few.

We can let our friends, neighbors and communities know about the efforts to impeach George W. Bush, Richard B. Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld and John Ashcroft, and how they can join this campaign.

May we love ever more. May we motivate ourselves to committed love in Action. May we motivate ourselves to live the life we wish to see in the world. May we be the transformation we wish to see in the world. From the inside out - From the roots branching upwards - From the heart to thought to word to action. Through life's trials and hardships we can arise beautiful and free.

A WOMAN CAN'T CHANGE THE WORLD,
BY CHANGING HERSELF.
