The Miami-Dade Chapter Family is the first Chapter of the Year of the FAMU National Alumni Association. Through the years, our members have effectively served as advocates, supporters and ambassadors for Florida A & M University.
Our goals include assisting in the assurance of the preservation of Florida A & M as a distinguished, world-class institution of higher academia. As a direct-support organization for the University, we continue to provide financial support via the Second Century Campaign, scholarship fund and athletic programs. Many chapter members also make individual contributions to the 21st Century Walkway Campaign, Second Century Campaign, FAMU Boosters and FAMU Foundation.
The Miami-Dade Chapter actively recruits students from South Florida by maintaining a partnership with the Miami-Dade County Public Schools College Assistance Program, presenting and participating in local college fairs and sponsoring the annual College Preview.
If you are a graduate, former student, or the parent or spouse of a graduate or former student, we invite you to get on board and join the Miami-Dade Chapter Family today!
