Each year we have many opportunities to help others. Sometimes these opportunities require our physical presence, other times just a few minutes of computer time. This page will present those opportunities to you so you can help as you see fit.

Scholorship Fund Each year MOAA Treasure Coast Chapter presents a scholorship bond to outstanding JROTC members at local high schools. We try to encourage donations throughout the year but emphasize them during the second quarter so we can meet our goals. If you would like to make a contribution to the Scholorship fund give your contribution to our Treasurer, Carole Fahey.

Fisher House TCCMOAA has an ongoing collection for the Fisher House at the West Palm Beach VA. The chapter collects personal hygene items, individually wrapped snack items, and gift or gas cards to help those who are staying at Fisher House. Members can bring items to any meeting.

VA Hospital Extended Care Patients TCCMOAA has an ongoing collection for patients at the VA Hospital in West Palm Beach Extended Care Unit. Members can bring new socks, t-shirts, and long sleepting pants to help patients. Items can be brought to any meeting.

Cards for Troops Go to http://www.letssaythanks.com/Home1280.html where you can pick out a thank you card, Xerox will print it, and it will be sent to a soldier that is currently serving in Iraq. You can personalize your message or choose one of several thank-you messages already composed. You can't pick out who gets your card, but it will go to some member of the armed services.
