WELCOME !

Naples Model Yacht Club is the largest radio controlled model sailing club in AMYA. We have over 60 members and most of the skippers sail more than one boat. We sail 5 different boat sizes at 2 different pond locations.

Club members will be happy to hand you their transmitter so you can get the feel for what it is like to sail remotely. Even veteran big-boat skippers are surprised by the differences.

FROM THE COMMODORE:

Commodore Wayne Starr

We starting to welcome back our skippers and looking forward to another excellent sailing schedule. We have a new Race Director this season, Dick Hedderick. Dick will be getting the counted race schedule starting, in January soon and it will be posted to our web site.

Satuday November 7th, will be our first monthly meeting, time will be right after the Soling One Meter's finish their fun sailing around 12:30 pm. Looking forward to seeing the skippers that have been away for the summer months.
