EC-12 #123 Woodie
FOR SALE
This boat is a beauty and is very fast and competitive.
I sail it in the Naples Model Yacht Club and Sun Coast Model Sail Club, Punta Gorda races and it consistently finishes at or near the top of the fleet.
EC-12 Built winter 2009, Hull was built by Scott Todd (July 2008) at Blue Crab Boats.
Hull was slightly under the legal hull weight when pulled from the mold. Therefore it can not be registered with the EC-12 class.
The deck is hand laid 1/ 16 Teak & Holly (one stripe at a time) with 1/16 Anigre toe boards and king plank, the top sides are veneer planked with 1/16 Anigre and all is finished in West epoxy.
Sail arm winch is an Ozmon and the Jib trim servo is a Futaba S3004.
Rudder is a gear driven (over rudder shaft) HS-5475 digital servo (Servo City) for positive control and a neat, clean interior.
The A rig was built using “Sailsetc mast, booms and hardware, main is by “John B sails” and the jib is “Windjammer” and are in excellent condition.
The B rig is hand made from Sitka spruce with a grooved mast and spruce booms, sails are by John B and were built Dec. 2010. Also in like new condition.
This boat measures to all the class rules, W/L = 42 1/2” and weighs 23lb 11oz.
Cradle and boat cover included, No radio, receiver or batteries.

But because of being underweight when removed from the mold it CANNOT be
REGISTERED in the EC-12 class.
It can only sail club races.
