Monthly meeting minutes of April 4th, 2009

Commodore Bud Cassidy,called the Annual Meeting to order at 12:15 pm. 23 members were present.

Prior Meeting's Minutes

Motion was made and seconded to waive the reading of the prior meeting's minutes as they appear in our Web site.

Treasurer's Report Richard Hedderick reviewed Club Finances. Major spending items for the past year were summarized. These include the usual expenditures for racing equipment, trophies, and insurance. Our reserve remains in excellent shape. Current membership stands at 61, similar to last year. Our liability insurance policy has been modified to recognize our new sailing locations.

COMMITTEE REPORTS

Race Chairman, Jack Wubbe, thanked everyone for helping RD the 76 race days held during the season. Awards will be given after the meeting.

Web Master, Dave Harrington, .

Summer sailing schedule will be entered in our Web Site shortly. Look at the Classified section for boats for sale.

Old Business no old business to report.

NEW BUSINESS Officers for the next year were presented by the nominating committee. These were:

Sec/Treasurer: Alex Sanders

No other nominations were made. The slate was elected unanimously.

Dick Hedderick was selected as Race Chairman for the next year. Fleet captains will be:

Special Award

Recognizing his contributions over years of service Jack Wubbe was given a lifetime membership to the club.
