Drills
Drills are usually held one weekend a month.
Check calendar for exact dates.
Time: 0800 - 1600
Attire: See POD
Meals: $7.00 a day
Location: See POD
Swim Call
Swim Call is a mandatory unit requirement.
Swim Call is usually the first Monday of every month.
Directions: YMCA on Congress Avenue.
The "Y" is located one block south of Forest Hill Blvd.
on the west side of Congress Avenue.
Time: 1830 - 2045
Cost: $2.00
Attire: Modest one piece swim suits. No bikinis or thongs.
Unit fundraiser car washes occur several times a year. Check the calendar for dates.
- Time: 0800 - 1400
Location: Exxon Gas Station @ Okeechobee Blvd. & Royal Palm Beach Blvd (next to Miami Subs).
Uniform: Unit t-shirt, shorts, cover, SUNBLOCK , & canteen.
Proceeds are divided evenly between participating cadets for unit events.
