As the log o would Imply, the primary focus of the Kiwanis Club of Palm Harbor and the thousands of Kiwanis Clubs throughout the would is the Welfare of children. We also perform projects and make donations that respond to the needs of the elderly and needy in the community by cooperative hands-on service projects and donations acquired by collaborative fund-raising projects. The activities of the club are geared to couple the needs of the community with the interests and skills of the members. As a member of Kiwanis you will have the opportunity to meet and work with many fine public spirited individuals by participating in these efforts in a spirit of fun and camaraderie. Many long-lasting friendships are derived from your membership in Kiwanis We are a friendly club! We try to make our meetings fun, productive and informative. Visiting Kiwanis members return to our meetings when they are in the area. We have several “permanent” snow birds that attend our meeting and participate in our activities during their time in the area.

How does the club function and what do member?

The Clubs meets for breakfast every Tuesday morning from 7:30 AM to 8:80 AM at Tiffany’s Restaurant (in the Fountains Center on US 19) At the m2eeting members learn of up coming events and sign up for work projects and enjoy interesting topics from guest speakers.
How do I become a member?
We invite all interested men and women to attend a meeting to check us out., the initial breakfast is our treat. If you are interested and attend tree meetings, you will be invited to complete an application for submission to Board of Directors for approval.
I am already performing charitable activities in the community. How does the impact on my activities as a Kiwanis member?
As public-spirited citizens, Kiwanis members have wide ranging concerns for the welfare of the community. Often, their interests are outside the purview of the Club’s official functions. Acknowledging this, Kiwanis members are encouraged to serve the needs of the community as individuals, and clubs whose members provide a wide range of public service activities receive special merit.
