Station 27 is located in the incorporated area of the Village of Wellington, Florida and services the residents of Wellington. A minimum of six firefighters are on duty at all times. We respond with 1 rescue or rescue engine 1 brush truck.

All personnel have extensive training in EMS and firefighting.

There are three stations located in the Village of Wellington, Station 25 is located on Wellington Trace and is manned by 5 personel each day responding with either 1 engine 1 resuce or 1 brush truck. Station 20 is due to open in March 2003 at the cornor of Paddock and Greenview Shores Blvd and will be manned by three personel and will respond to calls in a Rescue Engine.

Palm Beach County Fire Rescue is currently the third largest fire department in the State employing 1,172 career employees of which 925 are certified firefighters. A little over half of the firefighting force are cross trained as paramedics.
