Welcome to our New Members

Mercedes Agramonte-Harper from Red Bug Elementary, Keri Guilbault from Altamonte Springs Elementary, Minnie Cardona from the Educational Support Center, and Leanne Briatico, a UCF student.


One of the great benefits of membership in our local chapter is the camaraderie we share with our fellow educators within our field.

Letter to Prospective Members from Pat Neal

The members of the Central Florida Chapter of Phi Delta Kappa would like to thank you for the interest you have shown in our organization. We are proud of our fraternity and its contributions to education. Phi Delta Kappa requires its applicants to meet certain stringent criteria for membership. Scholarship, a commitment to a strong system of public education, leadership, contributions to the field of education, the generation and/or use of educational research, character, and integrity are all characteristics of Kappans.


To effectively process your application, please complete and return the following to me, Pat Neal, Vice President of Membership, as soon as possible. Please send forms to me at Layer Elementary.

Phi Delta Kappa offers three membership options: professional, associate, and institutional.

Professional membership is available to individuals who support the mission of the association and have a baccalaureate degree or are in or have successfully completed student teaching.

Associate membership download THIS Adobe PDF file is availabe to undergraduate students, government officials, parents, and other individuals who are not eligible for a professional membership but support the mission of the association and can benefit from the information the association provides.

Institutional membership download THIS Adobe PDF fileis available to institutions, agencies, companies, and corporations that support the mission of the association and have the desire to build learning communities that are knowledgeable about education issues and practices.
