January 22, 2009 - Special Queen's Tea Every year Arabian Nights Dinner Attraction hosts a special Afternoon Tea just for Queens and Vice Queens.

A Fashion Show and Tea will begin at 2:00 p.m. along with contests galore (best hat, funkiest hat, etc, best dressed). A gift shop is also available. In addition to the tea you are also invited to dinner and show at 6:00 p.m. A $5.00 charge covers gratuity.

To make your reservation, you must submit your written reservation request to Carolyn Powers, Director of Sales, at CarolynatArabian@aol.com - Please include your name, chapter name, address and phone number. For more information you may call 800-553-6116 ext. 212 or 407-589-2412.

Arabian Nights can accommodate only 250 guests. Once you send in your request, a confirmation will be sent in December at which time you will be expected to make your payment of $5 by credit card or check.

January 24, 2009 - Red Hat Chinese New Year Party SOLD OUT!!! sponsored by Pampered Pack of Peacocks from Palm City. Start looking for your Chinese Costume for the costume contest! If you do not care to wear a Chinese costume, the Red Hat Regalia (purple outfit and red Hat) is necessary. Ken Brady of the CASINOS - "Then You Can Tell Me Goodbye" out of Cincinnati, Ohio, sings great hits "Daddy's Home', Life is But a Dream, "Stand by Me, and "I Believe".

You won't want to miss the great sounds of our day in this stroll down memory lane.

A beautiful basket of vendor donated items will be raffled with proceeds going to the Susan G. Komen For the Cure Florida Suncoast. Last year we presented a check in the amount of $1,400 for research. It would be wonderful if we could top that this year. The basket is huge and full of wonderful Hatter items.

ATTENTION PLEASE
The dining room is not accessible until 11:45 - firm. Staff is setting up, program is being tested, etc. and you will not be allowed access. In the past, those who have come very early and completed their shopping, find it difficult to find seating until the dining room opens. Why not plan to arrive on time instead of early. We will be there for you and you will not experience a lag time. Help us to help you enjoy every minute. The vendors will be available from 10:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Jay Byorne Becker, a Fine Art Photographer from Titusville, Florida will photograph any Gala attendee - QM, VQM, Red Hatter and/or chapters. His rates are reasonable at $12 for an 8 x 10, or two 5 x 7, or three 4 x 6, or eight wallet size, or twenty-four specialty (business card). His rate includes free sitting and postage. Please note that he will accept cash and checks. Jay is donating five door prizes (8 x 10s of an individual or group/chapter) to be redeemed at the Gala. How nice is that? These door prizes will be drawn early in the program to allow the winners time for their sitting.
