QUOTA INTERNATIONAL OF PLANTATION, Florida, Inc. "Baby Baskets" Our members working together to make the baskets which will be delivered to one of our area hospital.
A CLUB WORKING IN ITS COMMUNITY!
Pictured left are club members and guest making the "Baby Baskets". Each individual basket contains much needed items for a newborn. Clothing, socks, pacifiers,a hand knitted blanket and a Quota Bear are placed in each basket. Kathy Zuendel and Anne LLewellyn deliver five baskets per month to two of our area hospitals. The items in the baskets are donated by our club members. Plantation Quotarians have been serving the community since 1989 in a variety of ways.

DISADVANTAGED WOMEN & CHILDREN, THE DEAF POPULATION, AND THE ELDERLY ALL BENEFIT THROUGH THE CONTRIBUTIONS OF QUOTA OF PLANTATION
Quota Care Bears are donated to police and fire departments to be given to children who find themselves in traumatic situations.
Going-home baskets which include outfits, blankets, socks, etc., are given to newborn babies, whose mothers are unable to provide clothing in which to take their babies home.
School supplies are given to the children of Women in Distress, along with monthly donations of supplies.
Scholarships are awarded to deaf students attending the college of their choice.
Families with deaf children are assisted with December holiday gifts and food.
Support is given to schools for their Hearing Impaired Programs.

WHAT IS QUOTA?
Quota is a worldwide network of people who have been giving back to their communities since 1919. Meeting for dinner once a month, Quota International of Plantation plans projects and fundraisers, briefly described above and in more detail (with pictures) on the linked pages listed to the left. Implementation of these projects takes place at various times during the year.
