 AWARDS NIGHT AT SOUTH PLANTATION HIGH SCHOOL
Since 1997, Quota International of Plantation has been awarding college scholarships to deaf students in our community. For many years, Quota Clubs around the world have been helping the deaf in a variety of ways, as well as providing public awareness campaigns to the hearing regarding the dangers of noise pollution and the problems of the deaf living in a hearing world.
To be eligible for the Quota International of Plantation, Inc., scholarship, one must meet the following criteria and provide the information described below.
CRITERIA
Deaf senior, deaf graduate, or student enrolling and accepted into a deaf education program
Full-time student with a 2.7 GPA
Student/graduate must be from a Broward County, Florida, high school
REQUIRED INFORMATION AND MATERIAL
Completed Quota International of Plantation, Florida, Inc. application form
Most recent audiogram
Official copy of your transcript
Two teacher references/recommendations
700-word essay describing educational and career goals
Optional: Recommendations from community representatives, coaches, or others
DEADLINE AND SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION WITH PERTINENT ATTACHMENTS
High school student applications must be submitted by April 15 to BRACE. Note: If deadline falls on a weekend, application is due the following Monday.
Broward County students already enrolled in college must submit their applications by April 15.
