SEE OUR SERVICE PROJECTS BELOW

$1000 scholarships are awarded each year. In 2010 five deaf students received Scholarship Awards. Also, each year, a Community Service Scholarship is awarded to a student at Northeast High School for their outstanding service. This year's recipient of that scholarship is the young lady pictured left above.

All the children leaving God's Little Lambs for 1st Grade received backpacks, shoes, shirts, and school supplies.

These graduating children will receive backpacks, shoes, shirts, and school supplies when the school year begins in 2009.

"Sound Beginnings" is a program which has partnered Quota Clubs with Siemens to provide hearing aids to children under age 18 who have no other financial means of obtaining them and meet certain criteria.

Providence Place and Angelica House provide shelter for homeless families. Baskets of personal items were put together for the mothers and fathers. Children receive gifts from the local fire department.

A "Signing Santa" Christmas party has been given for the deaf children at Tamarac Elementary School for more than 30 years. The party includes refreshments, a visit from Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus, and plenty of presents.

An annual poster contest is held at Tamarac Elementary School to help the children consider the importance of their hearing or lack thereof. This year 70 children took part. A celebration was held and certificates presented.
