Quota "Peeps"

QUOTA INTERNATIONAL

FORT LAUDERDALE
JUNIOR QUOTA CLUB

Quota Peeps are members of the Junior Quota Club of Fort Lauderdale. They meet weekly to work on projects for underpriviledged and deaf children.

They visit a local day care center to read and play games with small children one Wednesday afternoon each month.

This year, the migrant children of Markham Elementary School received Scooby Doo lunch boxes with snacks. They received rain ponchos for rainy days as they walk from their portable school room to their school buses.

May is Better Hearing and Speech Month. In the picture (left), the girls are getting ready to judge posters made by the deaf children of Tamarac Elementary School for QI of Fort Lauderdale's annual poster contest. This year the theme was "CONNECTING PEOPLE THROUGH COMMUNICATION."

Quota Peeps also help Mother Club Fort Lauderdale with their projects, such as delivering Quota Care Bears to the local fire department and sheriff's department. Another project they help with filling "back to school" backpacks which are given to the children of God's Little Lambs Daycare, a joint project funded by QI of Fort Lauderdale and the Rotary Club of Fort Lauderdale North.

And help us to hold high those principles
of Quota for which we stand.

QI of Fort Lauderdale Fashion Show

Some of us decided to practice.

We had a great time.

We were so excited to be asked to help Mother Club Fort Lauderdale on the day of the fashion show. We greeted people at the door of the hotel to direct them to the ballroom. We performed the Macarena for entertainment and we handed out door prizes, Chinese auction items, and raffle prizes!
