Red Hat Society of Belleza , is an official chapter of the Red Hat Society, formed on February 26th 2005, out of a need for unrestrained fun and friendship with other females.

The meaning of "Belleza", is Spanish for Beauty.

Belleza is accepting membership from ladies ages 1 year old to 130 years old, to enter into the sisterhood of Red Hat Society.

Belleza membership is not limited, so feel free to contact us! The only thing we do ask is that you have a computer, this helps us speed information to our chapterettes.

Requirements: 50 years of age and older must wear a red hat and purple finery...50 and under wear Pink Hat and Lavender finery!

What is RSVP ?

What does R.S.V.P. mean?

R.S.V.P. stands for a French phrase, "répondez, s'il vous plaît," which means "please reply." The person sending the invitation would like you to tell him or her whether you accept or decline the invitation. That is, will you be coming to the event or not? Etiquette rules followed in most Western cultures require that if you receive a invitation, you should reply promptly, perhaps that same day. For hosts who are planning a dinner party, a wedding or a reception, (or even a Red Hat Event) this is important from a practical point of view, because they need to know how many people to count on and how much food and drink to buy. More important, though, is the simple courtesy of responding to someone who was nice enough to invite you, even if it is to say that you regret that you will not be able to attend.

How important is RSVP etiquette?

RSVP etiquette is still very important. Even in these hurried days, no one is too busy to respond properly to an invitation. Cathleen Hanson, who is one of the owners and founders of the International School of Protocol, which teaches proper etiquette to children, adults, educators, and businesses, states, "We must RSVP. It is not an option. Think of the host. It is a matter of respecting that other person's invitation. Even if you are going to decline, you should always contact the host."

Etiquette dictates that you respond to an RSVP as soon as you can, the same day if possible. If you need to double check your schedule or talk with your spouse, make sure to do so in a timely matter. The sooner the hostess' gets the invitation back, the sooner she can make the final plans for the event.

What if I have to cancel?

The R.S.V.P., while part of a code of etiquette, is plain, basic, common courtesy. If you plan to attend an event, you have reserved a space - if you cannot attend, you must cancel your RSVP!

If, even at the last minute, you cannot attend call or send an email to the hostess or the Regional Cooridnator.

Belleza has announced it's 2nd RHS Tea.
This Tea was as informally regal, as it will be attended by only Belleza Chapterette's and their invited guests at the Queens Mansion !

Everyone chipped in made the tea something, not to forget ! It was just way too much fun.

Everyone so enjoyed trying new tea's and finger foods.

On March 28th, Saturday West Coast Queens' Council will host the 6th annual Gala.
This has become "THE" one day event of the year in the State of Florida for all red & pink hatters to attend ! Hatter's from all over the USA attend in Elegant Attire.

This year's event is a total sell out, so sorry if you and your chapter didn't know or get in your RSVP in time for tickets.

The Gala is held at the Ala Cart Pavillion, a prestigous elegantly catered affair.. That is brimming with hatitude , entertainment,drawings, music, photo ops, Magnificence food ( Catered by Out Back ) and lots of red hat vendors and can you say BLING BLING BLING ?

Seating for 800, sold out shortly, so Queen Marilyn Waltz and Vice Queen Karol Singleton added a few more tables (100) which once announced sold out in approx 4 hrs !!

RHS gives a nod of approval, HRH Linda Murphy is usually in attendence, and enjoys the Gala "emmently" !
