Meeting Minutes

 

 

            Don Neal, Vice Chairman opened the meeting at 8:30 a.m.   

           

            Eleven Members present.

 

            Minutes of the May meeting was accepted as written.

 

 

1.      Ron Spahr, Treasurer gave a treasurer report that our clubs balance was $236.08; deposits of $451.00 with expenses of $434.02 left a balance of $253.06...

2.      A general discussion on the July 4^th Community Celebration and every members responsibilities would be that day was reviewed. Everyone was prepared and anxious for that day.

3.      A question was raised regarding a new Frequency Chart just for the newest class boat “The Footy” but no action was taken at this time.

4.      Ken Bradfield made a request that all members support AMYA and register their boats.

Workshop:

.  Ken Bradfield brought his “Soling 1m” in for a demonstration on tuning your boat prior to sailing.. Ken also provided literature on “The Tuning Cycle of a Boat” prior to sailing each time. This chart can be found on http://www.myrc.org/library/tunecyc.htm

Our next meeting is July24^th and held at The Rec. Ctr. at 8:30am
