2007 Reconciler Head Start Christmas Party
- Chairpersons and leaders for a FREE Children's Health Fair for past 15 years
at The Long Center - Highlight on Health -- Children's Health Fair - Sponsor two full scholarships each year to SPC for CHS graduates
- Reconciler Head Start readers on a weekly basis to their 60 students - past 16 years
- Field Trips, Holiday Parties and Christmas Gifts for all of Reconcilier Head Start
- Responsible for the resurfacing of Clearwater High School's Track;
in 2005 over $235,000 was invested to resurface. This is the 3rd time that the surface
was redone since 1962 - lead by our club and our past Kiwanis member: Ed Wells, Jr. - Sponsor Key Club at Clearwater High
- Turnaround students Recognition Party for 6 Middle Schools (18 students)
- Paint Your Heart Out Clearwater, field a house painting team for past 17 Years
- Salvation Army Bell Ringers
- Sponsor the Clearwater Competitive Basketball League
- Kiwanis Pavilion at Chi Chi's Golf fundraisers
- Provide funds to Pinellas County Amateur Communications Service
- Supply food and dinners to needy on Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays
- Provide Christmas gifts to many needy kids including children identifed by Isaiah's Inn
- Honor Clearwater's Firefighter of the Year
- Honor resident of Clearwater as the Springtime City Kiwanis Citizen of the Month
- Sponsor High School Track Meets including the Ed Wells Invitational for last 46 years
- Sponsor and work at the Clearwater Police Bicycle Jamboree since it's inception
- Sponsor North Clearwater's Performing Arts Summer Camp; Mt Carmel, CDC
- Donations to:Clearwater Free Clinic, Community Service Foundation, Long Center, Boy Scouts of America, Girl Scouts, Police Explorers, Chi Chi Rodriguez Youth Foundation, Red Cross, Sheriff's Youth Ranch, Project Graduation and other children related causes which benefit the children and youth in Clearwater.
- Contributed $15K+ to the Kiwanis International's World Service Project which will eliminate Iodine Deficiency Disorders in 3rd world countries. Kiwanis International has donatated over $100 Million to this project.

Isaiah's Inn, Inc.
We provide food and dinners to Isaiah's Inn families on Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays
and Christmas gifts to 30 children identifed by Isaiah's Inn
Kiwanis Club of Springtime City is a dinner club that does more than eat dinner and enjoy great Kiwanis fellowship!
Everyone of our members participates on one or more committees. We roll up our sleeves to help!!!

COMMUNITY SERVICES helps other organizations be successful, maybe we volunteer to help with parking, sell hot dogs, or do some face painting and paint your heart out!!.. We also donate funds to worth while projects performed by other non-profit groups.
IDD is Kiwanis' World Wide Project to help 3rd world children with the elimatation of mental retardation. Our club and members has given more than $15,000.
MEMBERSHIP helps with recruiting potential new members for our club.
All members are on this committee.
SPIRITUAL AIMS committee recognizes the efforts that our members perform within Kiwanis and outside of Kiwanis in our local churches and community.
SPONSORED YOUTH focus on clubs that other youths and citizens of Clearwater participates within: BUILDER CLUBs, KEY CLUB, CIRCLE K, and ACTION CLUB. 5 different schools participate in our extended Kiwanis family under our club member's leadership.
YOUNG CHILDREN PRIORITY ONE committee focuses on the children. Our club has adopted a Headstart school for the past 15 years where different members read to the children at noon each Wednesday. We organize and sponsor their parties during major holidays and their graduation ceremonies. Another project, Shepard's Village has a large fenced playground for the children to enjoy at this single mother's complex. We provide assistance on a one-on-one basis for car repairs, children's clothing, and school supplies. During projects, a couple of our members ensure that all activites that involve children have a polaroid moment by taking hundreds of pictures after they win their ribbons or medals. The pictures capture the smiles that the children freely display during their proud moments.
YOUTH SERVICES provides assistance to children that wouldn't experience Christmas without our help. We typically spend in excess of $1,000 to provide 'requested presents' to really needy kids!!! This is what Kiwanis is all about. Each year, A Max Devane and Bill Roy Scholarship is awarded to a deserving Clearwater High School graduate for 2 years of tuition at St. Petersburg College. We recognize the Turnaround students in 6 local Junior High schools each year and sponsor a little league baseball team...and act as buddies during Special Olympics events...For the past 12 years our club has taken the lead in organizing the Children and Family Health Fair where all of the different non-profit organizations participate to make this event successful. So far more than 6,000 children have benefited from this absolutely FREE Health Fair!!!
Each month, these committees provide SERVICE to Clearwater...and this is just the tip of the iceberg.

In - House Committees of Springtime City Kiwanis
Every member of Springtime City Kiwanis prides themselves with giving a little back to the community..
We have both LEADERS and DOers...To make our meetings interesting we have guest speakers each week. In addition,we are lead in SONG by one of our members, and a surprise member acts as FINEMASTER tagging everyone for some miss-deed or another. The SPRINGTIMER, our weekly newletter, keeps the membership informed.
Each spring we have a Barbecue at Camp Soule where some 'oldtimers' demostrate their delicious talents. We challenge all of our members to interclub with other Kiwanis Clubs in the area.
Each year, our club provides more than $20,000 to our different Service projects; so we have people that help with fundraising which includes: Auctions, the Ed Wells Track Meet that has been going on for the past 42 years, a running event called the Easter Bunny Run on Clearwater Beach was held for 16 years, participation in Birdies for Charity, and many golf tournaments.
