HISTORY OF THE COLUMBIETTES The Columbiettes are an international organization of catholic women presently established in the United State and Canada. This Organization was founded in 1939 by Margaret Mary J. Mangan, who later became the FIRST SUPREME PRESIDENT; Past Faithful navigator John Leo Coyle and Past Grand Knight Charles P. Maruca Under the Inspiration of Msgr. J. Francis McIntyre, Then Chaplain of New York Chapter Knights of Columbus, who later became J. Francis Cardinal McIntyre of Los Angeles, and was established to form Catholic Women's Auxiliaries to be affiliated with and support the KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS. To our Founders, we dedicate ourselves to do God's work on earth promoting unity, Christ's love for each of us and zeal to serve God through Faith, Hope and Charity.

50TH SUPREME CONVENTION
The Supreme Columbiettes convention is coming up in August. Our Florida State Columbiettes will be well represented. This landmark event held in Philadelphia, PA. Additionally there will be a lot of information brought back especially with the change of our Supreme Headquarters

A PRAYER BY POPE JOHN PAUL

O Blessed Virgin, Mother of God, Mother of Christ, Mother of the Church, look upon us mercifully at this hour. Virgin faithful, pray for us. Teach us to believe as you believed. Make our faith in God, in Christ, in the Church, always to be serene, courageous, strong and generous.

Mother worthy of love, mother of faithful love, pray for us. Teach us to love God and our brothers and sisters as you loved the; make our love for others to be always patient, kindly and respectful. Cause our joy, pray for us. Teach us to be able to grasp, in faith, the paradox of Christian joy, which springs up and blooms from sorrow, renunciation and union with your sacrificed Son.

Make our joy to be always genuine and full, in order to be able to communicate it to all.
