Be A Member! Get Involved! T* A* S* C* is always seeking volunteers to join the coalition in support of its mission and purpose. All that is required is a willingness to learn about and an ability to make an effort to support adults, especially more higher-functioning adults, with autism spectrum disorders, their families and friends. This can be done by giving moral and other support to the activities and efforts sponsored by T* A* S* C*. We are looking for higher-functioning adults with autism spectrum disorders, such as Asperger's Syndrome, who are interested in individual and collective self-advocacy.

Unfortunately, "Life With Principle" did not have "wings to fly" - as James Taylor put it in the Thoreau-inspired song, 'Walking Man.' I am still convinced that Aspies, Auties and PDDers need to wake up to the possibilities of life on the spectrum/continuum - in the world itself - before they can pursue them! What will motivate someone with no one home?
So, we are going to try our own program and - perhaps - our own movie....

I will make everything work towards working with this. That means, of course, the social and support groups....
Thoreau wrote: "How many a man has dated a new era in his life from the reading of a book." I wonder how many of you may do the same with this program....
