Be A Member! Get Involved! T* A* S* C* is always seeking volunteers to join the coalition in support of its mission and purpose. All that is required is a willingness to learn about and an ability to make an effort to support adults, especially more higher-functioning adults, with autism spectrum disorders, their families and friends. This can be done by giving moral and other support to the activities and efforts sponsored by T* A* S* C*. We are looking for higher-functioning adults with autism spectrum disorders, such as Asperger's Syndrome, who are interested in individual and collective self-advocacy.

FLAwsome! Sponsored Programs
- 'the Gathering - an informal social get-together. People GATHER 'Most every Saturday from 1:00pm to 3:00pm in the dining area at Earth Fare, 2425 Apalachee Parkway in Tallahassee, Florida. (Turn left upon entering store. Table is the long one set away from the window. If no one is there, simply wait. Some one will join you shortly. Its informal and attendance varies as to who and how many, though normally, its a good turnout.)
- FLAwsome! Monthly Social Activity. Once-a-month during the school year, one time during the summer. Usually on a Saturday. Various social and/or recreational possibilities. Suggestions are welcome. (We have held picnics, museum trips, etc.)
- Tallahassee Autism Support Group. A monthly (except during the summer) mutual support and discussion meeting. Expect to give as much you get! In the offices of the Arc of Florida 2998 Mahan Drive, Suite 1, in Tallahassee. (The Arc is located within the Mahan Oaks office park. 2998 is the number for one of several office buildings within - you will not see the number from the road! Do not confuse the Arc with 'TownsendARC' or other trademark infringers.)
