![]() The American Association of University Women Tampa Branch was founded in 1916. We are very proud to be the "First in Florida". We hold our General Meetings the 3rd Saturday of the month , 11am-1pm, at various locations throughout Tampa. Through our Prose, Poetry, Place and People group our members meet monthly to explore many interests and share personal experiences. Our Ellen Richards group meets the 3rd Wednesday of every month, 10am-12pm, and also keeps informed of current issues and events through guest speakers. We are proud to support USF graduate students through our annual scholarship fundraising efforts. The AAUW Educational Foundation The AAUW Educational Foundation is the world's largest source of funding exclusively for graduate women. Each year the Foundation provides about $4 million in fellowships, grants, and awards for outstanding women around the globe and for community action projects. The Foundation also funds pioneering research on women, girls, and education, and international symposia. |
The AAUW Legal Advocacy Fund The AAUW Legal Advocacy Fund, a program of the AAUW Educational Foundation, is the nation's largest legal fund focused solely on sex discrimination in higher education.
