November 7, 2009 - 60s and 70s Brunch The Glad Hatters of Vero invite you to come out for a sock it to me, fun brunch. Dress in your best Psychedelic Laugh IN Funk or Red Hat Regalia. Ladies! Let’s party on! We are throwing a party that you will not want to miss! Come dressed in your most colorful dress/costume. Red Hat regalia is required if not in costume. Prizes for the most colorful and most imaginative costume.
“Get down” with the playful theme music of “Lauren”. Listen to the pleasant sounds of a strolling musician. Join us in our Mexican Conga Line and kick up your heels to a Mexican Hat Dance. Try your skills with a “Senior” Limbo. Prizes for the most “limber limbo-er”.
There will be piñatas and the winner takes a prize there too! All guests to receive a favor upon check-in. Vendors will be present and bringing new and exciting items for sale. Cash bar available all afternoon. There will also be a 50/50 plus raffle.
Lunch fare will include the choice of:
Watermelon Gazpacho
Chicken Tostada layered with refried beans, cheese, romaine and iceberg lettuce, avocado sour cream, pico de gallo and chipolte pepper
OR;
Southwest Fried Chicken Salad which will include:
Chilled Spring Mix, Lime and Tequila Marinated Grilled Chicken, Sliced Red Onions, Grape Tomatoes, Hard Cooked Eggs, Shredded Monterey Jack and Cheddar Cheeses, Chipotle Avocado, Ranch Dressing
