On Wednesday, February 18, 2009 the Lucie Goosies sponsored a bus trip to the Maltz Jupiter Theatre to see "Beehive". Red Hatters at Half Hour Inn

There were 60 Red Hatters that attended a Culinary Luncheon at the Half Hour Inn at the Vero Beach High School on Wednesday, March 18th. The Lucie Goosies sponsored this luncheon. Red Hatters from the following chapters were in attendance: Lucie Goosies, Friends to the End, Hurricane Hatters, Rebels with Hatatude, Redda Kappa Gamma, Red Hat Divas, Red Hot Water Babies, and Sassy Lassies.

The Red Hatters recited the Red Hat Pledge with one hand on their hat. There were three Birthday gals there, and the rest of us either played “Happy Birthday” on our kazoos or sang. There were door prizes and a Red Hat Split. The Red Hat Split winner was Sue Farrell, Vice Queen of Friends to the End.

The Culinary students are under the direction of Mrs. Pam Walker. The students do an excellent job.

6th ANNUAL RED HAT GALA

On Saturday, March 28, 2009, 900 Red Hatters gathered in Tampa for the 6th Annual Red Hat Gala. Entertainment was by Lianne Paschette, Ken Brady of the Casinos and Marty Carroll. The Night before several of us got together at the Bahama Breeze Restaurant to have dinner.
