We are so glad that you are here!
Are you a mom or mom-to-be looking for new friends? Do you need support and validation of your mothering choices? Are you ready to relax and enjoy the wonderful company of other mothers in the community as your children are lovingly-cared-for? Do we have the place for you!
Come join Titusville MOPS! A mothering support group existing to meet the needs of mothers in the greater Titusville, Port St. John and Mims communities. We offer great conversation, refreshment, dynamic guest speakers and creative activities. Age-appropriate childcare is provided by our professional Nursery Staff.
Enjoy Mom's Night Outs, regular playdates and the opportunity to connect with other moms all year long through our amazing e-mail network. We are here to help you be the best mom you can be!

Titusville MOPS Steering Team 2008 - 2009
Titusville MOPS exists to equip, nurture and support expecting moms through moms with children of Kindergarten age in becoming the best moms they can be. Join other mothers in your community for mornings of great conversation, creative activities and special guest speakers. Playdates, evenings out and special events are scheduled throughout the year. Meetings are held the 2nd and 4th Monday of every month, September through May, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Loving, age-appropriate childcare is always provided. While there is a $5.00 per meeting fee to offset childcare costs, scholarships are ALWAYS available and are a single telephone call or e-mail away! Meetings are held in the Wesley Fellowship Hall of Indian River City United Methodist Church at 1355 Cheney Highway in Titusville, Florida. Registration for Fall Study is Now Open! Are you looking for another layer of fellowship to add with your fellow moms? Please consider joining Titusville MOPS for our Wednesday Morning Study Group. Beginning on October 7th and continuing through December 9th, we meet in the Wesley Fellowship Hall of Indian River City United Methodist Church to enjoy the friendship, discussions and support of other women. Loving childcare is provided at no cost to you. Our book for this Fall Study is "All I Need is Jesus and a Good Pair of Blue Jeans: a Tired Supergirl's Guide to Grace." We meet Wednesday mornings at 9:30 and conclude at 11:30. "You know the pressure. To have the perfect Christian life and the perfect family. To be the perfect friend. To look perfect in those jeans. To be a supergirl. Instead of feeling good about yourself, you're left stuck in the gap between who you are and who you long to be. Susanna Foth Aughtmon knows what it's like to be a tired supergirl, fighting the enemies of pride, worry, jealousy, busyness, loneliness, and many more. With humor and courage, she lays bare those times in her own life when she found it a challenge to live the life God wants for her. But even tired supergirls have a secret weapon: God's Truth. With God's help, all of us can win the day against the subtle voices of Miz Do Good, Worry Man, Little Miss No Fair, and every other nemesis we encounter." We will enjoy segments from DVDs from Nicole Johnson, Chondra Pierce and others as well. Interested in becoming a part of this study? Reservations should made to this e-mail at your earliest opportunity. Childcare spots fill up quickly. This study is open to all women of the community, not just MOPS' moms. Please share this information with a friend. Book Orders will be placed on Monday, September 28th, unless the study fills up earlier. The cost of the book? $11.00. Scholarships are available if the cost of the book will preclude you from joining us. The cost is due by our third meeting. If you know you are coming, please rsvp today. Please let me know the names and ages of the children who will need childcare.
Titusville MOPS' Craft Club gets a new name -- The Braft Club! (book and craft, my friends ;) ) Third Wednesdays of every month at 6:30 p.m. Our Hostess is Tracy Romero, our Creative Activities' Steering Team Leader. She lives in South Titusville. Her contact information will be provided upon receipt of your RSVP to momof3sisters@yahoo.com. Please bring something to craft, a light snack and RSVP so we can let Tracy know how many guests to expect.

Together on Planet Mom! The New Year is about to begin!
Dearest Ladies,
To all expectant moms, stay-at-home moms, working moms, mothers with preschoolers, moms of infants or toddlers, homeschooling moms, nursing moms, young moms, older moms and moms with children in Kindergarten age, Titusville MOPS extends to you a warm and fuzzy "Welcome!"
Welcome to the 2009 - 2010 Titusville MOPS' Year, "Together on Planet Mom!" We are tremendously excited that the new year is about to begin. We hope to be able to share it with each and every one of you. For those familiar faces, we can't wait to see you! For those new faces, we look forward to getting to know you -- we are glad to have you aboard!
What is MOPS, you ask? MOPS officially stands for mothers of preschoolers but is much, much, much more. It is a group designed to connect moms, expectant mothers through those with children of kindergarten age, to other moms. We want you to find the friends you need, the support, approval and empathy you crave and to make connections! Whether you are looking to become part of a playgroup, a craft club, a bible study, or to simply find a fellow mommy friend, MOPS wants to help you reach your goal!
A group of your fellow volunteer moms form our Steering Team. This Steering Team works very, very hard to plan the most special Monday mornings you will ever experience ;)! From Creative Activities to Publicity to Finance to Hospitality, from Discussion to T.L.C. to MOPPETS, each Steering Team Leader works very carefully with her team to provide you with a wonderful way to meet other moms. Where else can you meet tons of moms from all over the greater Port St. John, Titusville, Mims communities in a bright, safe, clean and cheerful environment, enjoy outstanding and loving childcare for your little ones, work on crafts carefully prepared for your enjoyment and sample delicious refreshments? :) Hot coffee, laughter, comfortable chairs, empathy, door-prizes, special treats, non-judgmental support, a "Take Me" table, great conversation, a mom-friendly library . . . hm-mm, not a bad way to spend a Monday morning!
Titusville MOPS meets on the 2nd and 4th Monday of every month, traditionally beginning in September and continuing through May. This year our September meetings will be held on the 21st and the 28th to accommodate the public school schedule. Again, our first meeting will be held on Monday, September 21st. We meet in the Wesley Fellowship Hall of Indian River City United Methodist Church, located at 1355 Cheney Highway in Titusville. The Fellowship Hall is located towards the rear of the church campus. You needn't be affiliated with a church to enjoy this wonderful group. We have professional, loving childcare available for our MOPS' moms. We have our Nursery for our
infants, the Two-Year-Old Room for our young toddlers and the Three-Four-Five-Year-Old Room for our preschoolers. For each meeting, we ask that you please pack a small bag for your little one, clearly-labeled, and include a labeled beverage cup, a change of clothes and diapers/wipes, if appropriate. Allergy-friendly snacks will be provided for your little ones.
Before our first few meetings, our MOPS' Greeter Volunteers will be available all over campus to answer questions and to make sure you are able to find our childcare locations and our meeting room. Our childcare rooms open at 9:15 a.m. on the dot. Please, mommies, no earlier.
Our meeting room will open at 9:15 a.m. as well. Our Finance Team will happily check you in, maybe take a quick photo for our directory which will be provided to you in early Fall, and assign you to what is certain to be a wonderful table. You will be greeted by your Table Hostess who will introduce you to all of the other women of MOPS and will answer any questions you may have. Enjoy awesome refreshments and be ready to begin when the meeting is called to order at 9:30! As always, we will have FANTASTIC door prizes to share -- please be on time! Our meetings conclude at 11:30 a.m.
We traditionally collect a $5.00 per meeting fee to offset childcare costs and related expenses, but please come anyway even if you do not have the fee. Bring a friend or two or three! Scholarships are always discreetly available. Contact me privately with a quick "need scholarship" e-mail today and I will make some arrangements "behind the scenes" with our Finance Leader. We want YOU at this meeting! Please do not let the fee prevent you from coming.
Our Annual Open House will be held on Monday, August 24th. No childcare is available for this event -- we encourage you to bring your little ones with you. Meet our 2009 - 2010 Steering Team Leaders, ask questions, pick up our first newsletter of the year, pick up registration paperwork, register if the timing works for you, check out our Fall Study, our library and get a feel for the layout of the campus! We'll have light snacks for the moms and light snacks/juice for the little ones. There is no obligation in coming -- we are simply happy to offer an opportunity to make you just a little more comfortable at your first MOPS' meeting in September. The Open House is held in Studio 153 of the Wesley Fellowship Hall on church campus. There will be plenty of signs.
I am so excited to be a part of this amazing experience with you and your little ones. New friends and old, awesome crafts, parenting resources, great conversation, caring support, empathy and validation -- what more can you desire for a Monday morning!
Come, just as you are, to enjoy friends and relax while your little ones are lovingly cared for in a safe and special environment. Nursing infants are ALWAYS welcome in the meetings. We welcome EXPECTANT moms, too! Please do not hesitate to call with any questions you may have. Please come and check us out -- we hope to see you soon!
