Moms Helping Moms

Titusville MOPS moms help others in the following ways:
- After each MOPS meeting Titusville MOPS donates children's toys and clothing, as well as household goods, to the North Brevard Charities organization.
- Each November Titusville MOPS moms pack shoe boxes full of toys, school supplies, hygiene items, and other children's favorites for donation to Operation Christmas Child.
- MOPS moms provide meals to fellow moms in need after the arrival of a new baby, surgery, or during other periods of need.
- Titusville MOPS moms help others in the community that may be in need for whatever reason.
2010-2011 Service Project
Thank you to all that helped out with this year's service project during our January meeting. As volunteers we made 62 mats and we helped support the oyster reef restoration project in the Indian River Lagoon. The goal is to restore oyster reefs in Mosquito Lagoon, volunteers are needed to help make oyster shell mats. Each mat is made up of 36 oyster shells attached vertically with zip ties. The mats are attached to each other forming a large quilt-like structure. For more information or to volunteer please contact CJ Green at (321) 956-7711.
