MOMOLOGY - The Art & Science of Mothering
I remember being a child with summer coming to an end and shopping for new clothes, shoes, and all the other school supplies needed. The most exciting thing was wearing those new clothes and shoes that you weren’t allowed to touch until school started. I remember having the first day of school jitters, but I also remember the excitement of getting ready with my new school clothes, shoes, and the anticipation of all new and old friends and the challenges we would encounter in the upcoming year.
That is what this year is all about - going back to school with our fellow moms and meeting new moms. At the MOPS Convention I learned a formula: M=C2E which means mothering=consistently changing experience. Isn’t this true? Our lives are constantly changing as our children go through the next stage of their lives. I find it so amazing at times having two children that look so much alike but can be so different. It is true that our lives are consistently changing with both good and bad experiences. However, we can have comfort in knowing that we are not alone in this new course of MOMOLOGY. We can share these experiences, and at times heartache, with our fellow MOPS moms and mentors.
It is our goal here at Titusville MOPS to represent the comfort to you that your fellow friends did when you started school. You all make this a special and unique experience by stepping into the school bus and experiencing this school year with each of us. As we pack our backpacks for school, won’t you join us in MOMOLOGY? Will you help us when we forget that much needed school supply? Will you help us make it to the next class? (Maybe even on time?) Will you be a part of the joy we experience as we head into this school year in MOPS? Ladies it has begun. Let’s face this experience together! Together in MOMOLOGY!
