Check the Kennel Club bulletin board in Busch Hall for information including local vets and boarding facilities. Specific Kennel Club activities and locations are also listed in the TR Times and on Channel 25.
Meetings: We generally begin our meetings with guest speaker presentations, followed by a short business portion. Topics covered include canine nutrition, legal matters, adoption, dogs of the disabled, training and much more.
Classes: Our basic dog obedience course normally starts in mid-January at the Puppy Park. There is a nominal fee and limited class size. The course lasts 6-8 weeks, depending on the instructor availability.
Hobby Show: We participate in the Annual TR Hobby Show in Busch Hall. At this annual event, we provide information about our Kennel Club and attract new members.
Pet Show: Our annual Pet Show is held in March at the Puppy Park. We begin with a parade of TR pets, followed by a demonstration of the graduating obedience class. Individual performances of agility and tricks are also showcased at this event. The grand finale is a costume parade of pets.
