On behalf of the OSC, we’ve given in excess of $10,000 a year to: college scholarships, the Red Cross, Air Force Village, Ronald McDonald House, PC Rescue Mission, Airman’s Attic, Heartlink and Scouting. We also donate on a regular basis to Anchorage Children’s Home, Catholic Charities, the Tyndall Library, The Humane Society, and others in need.

How to volunteer: Stop by during regular businesss hours and speak to Misty Borders, the Manager. Volunteering has its perks such as: special VIP parking, first pick of items to purchase, discounts on donations, on-the-job training and childcare reimbursement.

How to Consign:
Stop by the thrift shop and fill out a consignor information form to receive a consignor number. We will talk you through the policies and procedures from this point and show you how to “blind tag” your items before you bring them in. We keep 25% of the total sale price. Items remain active for 60 days. If an item has not sold after 60 days it becomes the property of the OSC Thrift Shop and becomes a charitable donation.
