Titus Women Needed

What is a "Titus Woman?"
A "Titus Woman" is a Mentor Mom for MOPS. The position was created because of the verses in Titus 2 where older women are encouraged to instruct younger women.

"Then [the older women] can train the younger women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled and pure, to be busy at home, to he kind, and to be subject to their husbands, so that no one will malign the word of God." Titus 2:4-5

What is Mentoring?
Mentoring is a relationship experience in which one person empowers another by sharing God-given resources.

What is the role of a MOPS Mentor Mom?
A MOPS Mentor Mom nurtures and encourages members of our MOPS group. She teaches by example and encourages, counsels, and shares with moms, especially in one-on-one relationships.

How old is a MOPS Mentor?
A mentor is deined more by role than age, although life experience beyond the preschool years is part of mentoring.

What is the commitment?
Mentor moms attend each of the MOPS meetings, which are held on the second Fridays of each month from 9:30- 11:30 am from September to May.

Did you ever wish you could just talk to someone who has already "been there" with their children? Let our mentor moms help! Each MOPS mom is assigned a small group which is led by our very caring and encouraging mentor moms.
