What do we do at a MOPS meeting?

At a typical MOPS meeting, moms can enjoy delicious brunch, adult conversation, fabulous speakers and fun crafts. Not to mention gab time with the girls! It's a great place to reenergize and connect with other moms.

What about my children?

During meetings children are cared for in the nursery wing of the church by a group of trained, responsible helpers. Your child will experience a loving, preschool-like setting with other children their same age. Children are given time to interact with each other and express themselves through play, music, crafts, and through learning a lesson focusing on Biblical principles and values. You can have piece of mind that your child is well cared for while you are just a room away enjoying some much needed adult time.

Where do you meet?

We meet at West Bradenton Baptist Church, 1305 43rd Street West, in Bradenton- 941-748-6926. Our meeting room is located on the second floor, straight ahead from the elevator. You can always ask in the church office for directions. Feel free to find directions at the bottom of our Home Page from your home.

When do you meet?

We meet on the second Friday of every month, September through May, from 9:30 a.m.-11:45 a.m. You can drop your children off starting at 9:15am.

What does MOPS cost?

Your first MOPS meeting is free! Please come and see if this is a place you want to be! All subsequent meetings are $5.00 each, which help cover the cost of crafts, guest speakers, and general expenses. By your third meeting, MOPS International requires that you register with MOPS. The cost of registration is $25 ($20.00 to MOPS and $5.00 local cost).

What do you recieve with registration?

You will recieve lots of goodies, including a year subscription to MOMSense Magazine, MOPS to Mom E-mail, and other wonderful goodies. We do not want anyone to miss MOPS because of financial reasons. Scholarships are available to help cover the cost of the meetings and registration. Please contact Grace for more details.
