Welcome to MOPS at West Bradenton Baptist Church!
MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers. It is a program designed to encourage, nurture, and support all mothers of preschoolers. MOPS is open to all mothers who have children from birth to kindergarten. We come together from all age groups and backgrounds with a shared desire to be the best moms, wives, and Christian women that we can be. MOPS understands that the years from infancy to kindergarten are foundational in a mother-child relationship and are filled with unique needs. We provide a friendly and fun place for mothers to relax, encourage, and learn from one another about how to handle this rewarding but sometimes tough time in our lives.
So what is MOPS? We're so glad you asked!
MOPS is about:
MOPS helps moms through relationships established in the context of local groups that provide a caring atmosphere for today's mother of young children. MOPS also encourages and supports moms through resources such as books, this Web site, the daily MOMSense Radio program, and the MOPS to Mom Connection.
Unlike a playgroup or Mom's Morning Out, MOPS is a morning where Moms and their children learn and grow under the same roof, but separately. During MOPS, your children will be having an awesome time in a safe environment at MOPPETS. Each child enrolled in MOPPETS will be assigned to a developmentally appropriate classroom with teachers who are there to show them love and compassion. The children will have story time, crafts, snacks and lots of hugs and kisses in MOPPETS!
