Welcome to the Whisperettes Website.....
The Whisperettes are a fun-loving bunch of beautiful Red Hat Ladies who live in Whisper Lake Mobile Home Park, located on US 27 north,
behind Mid Florida Eye Clinic.
We enjoy going to luncheons, love other Red Hat
functions, cruises, teas, cards, games and any other reason to get together.
2. THERE'S NOT ONE SHRED OF EVIDENCE SUPPORTING THE NOTION THAT LIFE IS SERIOUS.
3. YOU'RE NEVER TOO OLD TO DO GOOFY STUFF.
4. I FINALLY GOT IT ALL TOGETHER;NOW I'M FALLING APART.
5. THE CHILD IN YOU, LOVES TO LAUGH, TO BE AROUND PEOPLE WHO CAN LAUGH AT THEMSELVES AND LIFE. CHILDREN INSTINCTIVELY KNOW THAT THE MORE LAUGHTER WE HAVE IN OUR LIVES, THE BETTER.
6. THE HAPPIEST PEOPLE DON'T NECESSARILY HAVE THE BEST OF EVERYTHING, THEY JUST MAKE THE BEST OF EVERYTHING.
7. SURE, I'M FOR HELPING THE ELDERLY, I'M GOING TO BE OLD MYSELF ONE DAY.
8. THE BEST MIRROR IS AN OLD FRIEND.
I want a tiara so I can be queen,
And fishnet stockings of bright purple sheen
And a red feather boa to drape 'round my throat
And when days are chilly, a long purple coat.
When I was a child, I would wear Mama's clothes
And lace curtain gowns with large shiny bows
And big high-heeled slippers in which my feet swam
And pretend that I was a W-O-M-A-N
A woman grows older in years so they say,
But inside still resides a girl who can play
Who comes out to prove it whenever she can
With red opera gloves and a red feathered fan
to sip her tea daintily from a wee china cup
The girl in the woman will never grow up

NOW I SIT ME DOWN TO EAT.
I PRAY THE LORD MY SHAPE TO KEEP.
PLEASE NO WRINKLES, PLEASE NO BAGS
PLEASE NO AGE SPOTS, PLEASE NO GRAY
AS FOR MY BELLY, TAKE IT AWAY.

KEEP ME YOUNG.

Our first luncheon of the 2008-2009 season will be on October 9, 2008. It will be at Beef O'Bradys at 1:00 p.m. Joan Faria will be our hostess. If you will be able to attend, please call Joan and let her know. Her Ph # is 385-9496. Hope to see everyone there. We will set our schedule for the coming year.
There will be a luncheon and fashion show at Quality Inn on October 30th at 11:00. The cost is $16.00 and includes a buffet lunch. Let Barb know if you are interested.
& Rosemarie Fitzpatrick. This will be our Christmas Party.
Husbands/or guests are invited. We will have our luncheon
catered and it will be held in the clubhouse at 12:00 noon.
