Welcome to the Whisperettes Website.....
The Whisperettes are a fun-loving bunch of beautiful Red Hat Ladies who live in Whisper Lake Mobile Home Park, located on US 27 north,
behind Mid Florida Eye Clinic.
We enjoy going to luncheons, love other Red Hat
functions, cruises, teas, cards, games and any other reason to get together.
2. THERE'S NOT ONE SHRED OF EVIDENCE SUPPORTING THE NOTION THAT LIFE IS SERIOUS.
3. YOU'RE NEVER TOO OLD TO DO GOOFY STUFF.
4. I FINALLY GOT IT ALL TOGETHER;NOW I'M FALLING APART.
5. THE CHILD IN YOU, LOVES TO LAUGH, TO BE AROUND PEOPLE WHO CAN LAUGH AT THEMSELVES AND LIFE. CHILDREN INSTINCTIVELY KNOW THAT THE MORE LAUGHTER WE HAVE IN OUR LIVES, THE BETTER.
6. THE HAPPIEST PEOPLE DON'T NECESSARILY HAVE THE BEST OF EVERYTHING, THEY JUST MAKE THE BEST OF EVERYTHING.
7. SURE, I'M FOR HELPING THE ELDERLY, I'M GOING TO BE OLD MYSELF ONE DAY.
8. THE BEST MIRROR IS AN OLD FRIEND.
I want a tiara so I can be queen,
And fishnet stockings of bright purple sheen
And a red feather boa to drape 'round my throat
And when days are chilly, a long purple coat.
When I was a child, I would wear Mama's clothes
And lace curtain gowns with large shiny bows
And big high-heeled slippers in which my feet swam
And pretend that I was a W-O-M-A-N
A woman grows older in years so they say,
But inside still resides a girl who can play
Who comes out to prove it whenever she can
With red opera gloves and a red feathered fan
to sip her tea daintily from a wee china cup
The girl in the woman will never grow up

I PRAY THE LORD MY SHAPE TO KEEP.
PLEASE NO WRINKLES, PLEASE NO BAGS

AS FOR MY BELLY, TAKE IT AWAY.

Our Hostess for the month is Joan Faria. Our luncheon will be on Oct. 9th at Bob Evans, at 12:30
Don't forget Bunco on Fri Oct 16th, CaddyShack at noon.
Hostesses for December 10th are: Vicki & Connie. Our Christmas luncheon will be at Chalet Suzanne. Cost is $18.00 a plate, we'll have a choice of 3 items from their fabulous menu. The hostesses have a fun afternoon planned. We can carpool. Any questions, call Vicki at 382-8663 or Connie at 314-0691

"Light Up Mount Dora" bus trip on Saturday, Nov 28 2009. $18.00 per person.
Bus will pick us up at Reflections On Silver Lake at 9:00 AM. We will stop at "Lakeridge Winery" in Clermont for a tour and tasting. On to Mt. Dora for lunch and festivities. We will stop on the way home for supper and be back around 9:00 pm

Jan. 23rd: Winterfest 2010: Quality Inn, Sebring, Doors
open at 11:00 AM, delicious lunch buffet,vendors, great entertainment, Elvis Wade & Sandy Posey. Door prizes galore.
