We recognize how hard our Administration, Teachers, and Staff work for our *STARS* and how hard our *STARS* work for them. We've deisgned a few programs to let them know how much we appreciate them

STAFF APPRECIATION

If you have questions, email Joi at JCBaxter0918@hotmail.com

Staff Appreciation Luncheons will be held throughout the year. Please bring food if you can help!!

Luncheons and Themes are...(Check back often as more information will be added when we get closer to the date)

October 5th: Fall Favorites
December 7th: Picnic, and lots of cookies needed for gifts
February 8th: Italian
April 12th: Luau/BBQ
May 6-10th Staff Appreciation Week: Mexican

PTO Volunteers are needed every other month to cook and bake for our staff lunches. This is a very special treat that adult "stars" look forward to and a simple way to thank them on a regular basis for everything they do every day!

Please let us know if you are interested in helping!

STUDENT PROGRAMS

Santa Shoppe

The Santa Shoppe provides a nurturing environment for our children to learn the gift of giving. Each class will visit the shop during the week of December 3-7 in 2012. An envelope will be sent home to parents where they can put guidelines on how their child should shop. The child gets the gift of learning to budget the money, pick out the gifts, get the gifts wrapped by our elves, and the biggest blessing, giving the gifts. The smiles and excitement the children experience is outstanding. During a season where it often seems it is about what I'm getting, our kids at WNPS get to find out the joy of giving.

Starbooks Store

WNPS offers this special book store to students so that they can go shopping independently and reinforce their reading and math skills. Chapter books are $3.00 each and all other books are $2.00 each. All proceeds remain in our school. If you are interested in volunteering in the Starbooks Store, please contact wnpspto@gmail.com
