How You Can Help ![]() There are still too many people in this world who hate wolves. Most would change their minds, if they could share my experience. One must understand the wolf in the wild to truly appreciate the animal. We humans judge wolves by our own standards. However, in their own world, up there in the high arctic where human standards are sparse, this wolf pack can maybe teach us think about their species in a different way. By sharing the life of this pack that I have had the extreme privilege of knowing, I hope I can help other people to see the wolf for what it is: One more magnificent species, superbly adapted to contend with it's harsh environment, and highly deserving of our understanding and acceptance. - L. David Mech ![]() Think for a moment about the kind of footprint you make upon our earth... Fulfilling the immediate demands of our growing human population places increasingly unreasonable demands upon our wildlife and our environment. Commit yourself to making a difference in this world and to creating a better future for wolves and for people. This is being done through education, conservation and through a balanced approach to the issues facing our environment. Sharing these efforts, together we can make a difference. Check out the links area of this website for wonderful organizations working to save our brothers the Wolf. ![]() It's our responsibility, and our honor, to protect our older brothers and sisters... the four-leggeds.
Wolf Pack - Maybe if man learns to understand the values of the pack, Like the lone wolf that cannot survive without the pack man cannot survive alone without his fellow kind. Continue to fight for your survival. Wolf pack, raise your young, bring them up in your footsteps, run Free, run Wild. Maybe someday your Howl to unite the pack will be heard Everywhere. |
