The Youth Sports News is a monthly publication that covers youth sports in the Tampa Bay area. The Youth Sports News debuted in 1997 and is the area’s ONLY publication devoted to youth sports. We write about sports (baseball, softball, soccer, football, golf, tennis, dance, gymnastics, swimming, etc.) just like the sports section in your major newspaper, but most of the athletes we cover are in elementary and middle school.

Are you a coach, team manager, parent, grandparent or fan? Then, we want to hear from you! Send us game coverage, stats, photos, event schedules, tryout dates, etc. YOU are YSN’s news! And, always provide us with a contact name and phone number so we can contact you if we want more details.

YSN can be found anywhere kids and their parents are: elementary and middle schools, libraries, rec centers, private schools, orthodontists and pediatricians, sporting good retailers, ice and roller rinks, amusement parks, movie theaters, day care centers, community centers... That’s right, anywhere kids and their parents are!

YSN is the “Go To Guide” for families in Tampa Bay looking for all types of kids’ activities. This is your chance to get the word out about your registration and sign-up dates, tryouts, lessons, clinics, camps, after school programs, leagues, tournaments and special events.

YSN comes out between the 7th and 10th of every month. We generally need your information by the last Thursday of the month for it to be published the following month. You can call us at 727-786-5642, fax us at 727-786-4958 or email us at ysn1998@aol.com. We look forward to hearing from you!
