Arrival and Pick Up
Students may enter at the ring of the school bell. Parents/guardians of Pre-K students are required to walk their child to their classrooms, sign them in, and place them in the care of their Pre-K teacher or paraprofessional. ALL students shall be walked to their classroom by an adult.
When arriving at 30th Avenue, all cars/vans should be parked in a marked parking space or on the side of the school building. Cars/vans are not allowed to park along the front curb of the school or along 30th Avenue.

Breakfast will be served from 8:45 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. Serving closes at 9:00 a.m., so it is very important that your child be on time to school each day.

Children will be picked up in the front of the school in the afternoons. Children will be available for pick-up by 3:00 each day in order to help with traffic and to help out parents who have children at other schools. All children should be picked up by 3:15 p.m.

Illness
Parents/guardians will be called to pick up children who are running a fever of 100 or above, who are throwing up or are having diarrhea. Please have all current emergency and back-up numbers on your child's information form/card in case they need to go home due to illness.

Children may return to school when they have been free of fever, throwing up, or diarrhea for 24 hours.

All medications must be in their original bottles and should have it's own measuring spoon/syringe included if the medication to be given is a liquid. A medical form must be filled out with your teacher or in the office before any medications will be given. Please DO NOT send any type of medication with your child. They will not be allowed to take any medications that have not been checked into the school by an adult.

Discipline
30th Avenue Preschool follows the Muscogee County School District's Discipline Policy. Information about the district's discipline plan and dress code can be accessed by clicking this behavior code or dress code link.

We greatly appreciate your assistance in these areas and look forward to a great school year.
