 Fountain City Performance Learning Center
FCPLC is a unique, nontraditional learning environment for high school students who are not succeeding in traditional schools for various reasons other than ability. A business-like learning environment is created where students work at their own pace and are challenged and supported to meet their academic goals. Students will be enrolled in a nontraditional learning environment, will complete coursework integrating online and project-based curriculum, will be matched with a mentor, will have opportunities to participate in internships and dual enrollment, and will graduate with a marketable skill.
The strategy of FCPLC is built on the 4 Rs:
Relationships with students
Relevant instruction
Rigorous academics
